We have some great news! Thanks to a recent radio public service campaign and some news coverage, we’ve been contacted by 17 people who are interested in joining our team as volunteers. That’s a big step toward our goal of having at least one trained volunteer in every county and tribe in Wisconsin.
As those applications are returned, we are looking for central locations to provide a full day of training for these new volunteers. Since we are using a new training manual provided by the Administration on Aging, we are hoping to have our previously trained volunteers join us too. Please watch the weekly updates as we get the trainings on the schedule.
