A grandmother from Madison is warning others about a scam she narrowly avoided.
Late last month, a boy called and made her think it was one of her grandsons. When the guy on the phone said he was caught in London and need cash quick, she knew it was a scam. She called the cops and when the person called back again, they didn’t want to stick around when she told them police were involved.
Channel3000.com did a great story about this 81-year old grandmother, who wants others to avoid this scam. Check out the video below.
