Docs Earn Millions in Medicare Bonus Program

Doctors who saved Medicare on healthcare costs earned nearly $32 million in bonuses from the government-funded program. A total of 10 groups of physicians participated in the pilot program. Half of them earned bonsues, ModernHealthcare.com reports. Medicare plans to implement a similar program in two years under the new healthcare reform law.
